It comprises a 55 amp alternator; alternator stand; alternator backing plate; fuel pump with pushrod; V-belt and Accelerator Pump Setting Plate. This kit will fit VW Beetles 1960 on VW T2 Split from 1960 to 1967 VW T2 Bay 1600cc models 1967 to 1979 We believe it to be the only kit on the market that includes the required fuel pump and pushrod along with the correct carb accelerator pump setting plate. This plate is used on your carb to clear the larger body of the alternator. The cheaper kits on the market do not include these required parts.
